The aluminium frame withstands impacts with beds or stretchers; the thick wooden leaf in a laminate finish is fitted with aluminium kick plates at the base and at handle height; an overhead door closer with slide arm is installed, while the secondary leaf is kept closed by means of a flush-bolt mechanism. It can be clad in various different materials, or painted, thereby customising the look.
